FOSTER - Fostering Innovation in Med SMEs-Application of innovation improvement models for High Tech SMEs in the Mediterranean Basin, under ENPI CBC MED Programme (call 2009): Contributing to the Support of innovation and research for local development of the Mediterranean Basin countries, create organizational models and development processes that would respond programmatically to the problems of lack of innovation in the SMEs of the Mediterranean Countries, with special reference to the ICT and Technology for Environment sectors. SHMILE 2 - From experimentation to dissemination of the Ecolabel in the Mediterranean, under ENPI CBC Med Programme (call 2009): the objective is to promote the spread of the Ecolabel for tourist accommodation service in the Mediterranean. Partners: Chambers of Commerce, Public Administrations, Institute of tourist development and Research Institutes coming from France, Italy, Greece, Tunisia, Jordan and Egypt.
OVINOS : strengthening of sheepmeat - development and regional integration and development and integration of economic sectors, under ENPI Italy - Tunisia Programme (call 2010): the objective is to help strengthen the competitiveness and quality of animal products, sheep (meat, milk, etc..), improve the value chain in areas on both sides of the Mediterranean, helping to define policies and services for the development of distribution channels of food production and promotion of the Mediterranean partnership. QUALIPÊCHE - Fishing Quality Tourism - The development and regional integration and development and integration of economic sectors, under ENPI Italy - Tunisia Programme (call 2010): The objective is to contribute to the promotion of coastal areas around the Mediterranean, by creating synergies between the key players in coastal fishing and tourism, and greater promotion of sustainable tourism based on an innovative restoration of cultural heritage and environmental impact of traditional fishing in the affected regions. WE-ART Women Entrepreneurs for Activities in Responsible Tourism, under ENPI CBC MED Programme (call 2009): Promotion of socio-economic development and enhancement of territories, concentrating on innovation and research in key sectors for the cooperation area, creating synergies among potentials of the Mediterranean Sea Basin countries and strengthening strategies of territorial planning. Contributing to improve the access to the labour market for young women. WATERMED Water and Agriculture Through Environment and Renewable energy in MEDiterranean areas: Sustainable natural resources use under condition of scarcity. A pilot project on irrigation conversion using photovoltaic and wind energies, under ENPI CBC MED Programme (call 2009): Sustainable model of irrigated processing using renewable energy for water adduction and desalination tested on saline soils and water with high salinity levels. The model is aimed at increasing agricultural production for human and livestock with sustainable costs with limited impacts on landscape and environment. TERRAS Toward Environmental Restoration in teRraced Agricultural Soils, under ENPI CBC MED Programme (call 2009): Contribution to the maintenance and/or to the reinforcement of the identity of the "Mediterranean terraced landscapes" with particular regard to disadvantaged areas, such as inland areas and rural mountain villages.
