Open Med Staff

The staff of OpenMed consists of a group of professionals that has a long experience in the
development of services of support to project management in all its phases, from conception to implementation and management of projects financed by European, national and regional funds, concerning issues such as sustainable development and exploitation of local resources, education and higher education, cultural heritage, social inclusion, intercultural dialogue, information, quality systems and quality certification, energy efficiency, environmental enhancement and sustainability, sustainable tourism, research and technological development, innovation and competitiveness, international and EU law.
 

  • Stefania Aru, Co-founder

    Founder of OpenMed, graduated in Political Science at the University of Cagliari, Master in Law of the European Union at the Institute of European Studies A. De Gasperi of Rome, professor of project management techniques at the European Masters in Project Management at the Faculty of Political Science - University of Cagliari. Expert in local development and gender policies. Since 1996, she carries out consultancy in project management, taking care of the aspects of planning, coordinating and supervising groups of projects funded by European, national and regional programmes on issues as Innovation and Enterprise, Mobility, Education and Culture, Territorial Governance.

  • Emanuele Cabras, Co-founder

    Founder of OpenMed, graduated in Political Science – Economic field– at the University of Cagliari, then got his Masters degree at the Business Administration School of Alma-Profingest. Since 1996, he works in the field of organizational and management consulting, playing the role of Project Leader for projects financed by European, national and regional programmes on issues as Innovation and Enterprise, Environment, Education, Territorial Governance. He carries out research on economics and collaborates with research centers and universities.

  • Marco Caredda, Co-founder

    Founder of OpenMed, graduated in Agricultural Sciences at the University of Sassari and Doctor of Microbial Biotechnology Research and currently a professor in Eco-certification of Forestry and Environmental Systems. Since 1995, he holds the role of Project Leader in projects funded by European, national and regional programmes on issues as Innovation, Education, Environment and Productive clusters, contributing with its know-how and experience to design innovative systems of Self-control and Quality Environmental Management systems applied to SMEs and public administrations.

  • Annamaria D'Angelo, Co-founder

    Founder of OpenMed, graduated in Political Science at the University of Cagliari. Expert in gender policies and social policies, she has carried out evaluation work on various projects co-financed by the Structural Funds. Coordinator of the European Masters in Project Management at the Faculty of Political Science (CRENoS) - University of Cagliari. Since 1996, she carries out consultancy and EU project management and management and accountability of projects funded by European, national and regional programmes on issues as Innovation and Enterprise, Mobility, Education and Culture, Territorial Governance.

  • Daniele Cocco, Consultant

    OpenMed consultant, graduated in Political Science - international politics - at the University of Cagliari. Specialized in EU Project Management since 2007, he is a consultant for the assistance and support in design, planning and management of European and Euro-Mediterranean cooperation projects, in the framework of financial support programmes promoted by regional, national and European institutions on matters such as Innovation and Enterprise, Environment, Education and Culture, Territorial Governance.

  • Luca Cocco, Consultant

    OpenMed consultant, independent professional engineer since 1999, EU Project Management actively working in international cooperation projects in countries of the Mediterranean basin. Since 2001 he works with continuity with the company Item srl contributing with his support to projects financed by regional, national and European programmes in fields such as Innovation and Enterprise, Environment, Education, Territorial Governance.

  • Francesca Esu, Consultant

    OpenMed consultant, graduated in Law at the University of Cagliari. Expert in the field of policies, structural funds and direct management programmes. Since 2006, she deals with managing complex projects and cooperation in the Mediterranean area and in Sub-Saharan Africa in fields such as Innovation and Enterprise, Mobility, Education and Culture, Territorial Governance.

  • Tara Marini, Consultant

    OpenMed consultant, graduated in Political Science at the University of Cagliari, specialized in Euro-Mediterranean cooperation at Boston College. She was working in the sector of coordination of European projects and assisting in the planning of the POR (Regional Operative Planning) Sardinia 2000-2006. Afterwards she worked as consultant in interpreting, research for Yale University, support in the preparation of the ENPI CBC MED Programme. Since October 2008 she is a consultant for the assistance and support in designing, planning and management of European and Euro-Mediterranean cooperation projects on issues as Innovation and Enterprise, Environment, Education and Culture, Territorial Governance.

  • Paola Pinna, Consultant

    OpenMed consultant, graduated in Political Science – international politics – at the University of Cagliari, she specialized in the management of financial instruments connected to policies of territorial development (Environment, Energy, Tourism, Quality). Since 2007 she carries on her activity between France and Italy, serving also as a responsible for EU project management at Alphéeis, cabinet d'études specialised in Energy located in Science and Technology Park of Sophia Antipolis (Valbonne). She provides support in designing, planning and management of projects of European and Euro-Mediterranean cooperation in the fields of Innovation and Enterprise, Environment and Territorial Governance.

  • Annalisa Pireddu, Consultant

    OpenMed consultant, graduated in Business Administration and Master's degree in Business at the University of Cagliari. From 2001 she deals with EU project management and local development and has competence in technological research and social policies. She also works with facilitated finance and is responsible for the design of the project proposal and budget of projects of cooperation on the issues of Mobility, Education and Culture, Territorial Governance.

  • Carlo Raccis, Consultant

    OpenMed consultant, graduated in Law at the University of Cagliari, specialised in Strategic Marketing and Business Organization, he provides his experience of project Leader in Internet projects of international cooperation to develop and improve Openmed web services. Since 2005 he deals with presentation and management of R & D projects funded by European programmes in Innovation and Enterprise, Environment, Education and Territorial Governance.

  • Pietro Soddu, Consultant

    OpenMed consultant, graduated in Political Science – international politics – at the University of Cagliari, he specialized in EU Law and project management in the framework of Euro-Mediterranean Cooperation. Officer for the Arab League from 2004 till 2006, he provides his experience of researcher and project manager in relationship with international partners like Euro Arab Management School di Granada and UN agenciea like UNEP (United Nation Environmental Programme) to develop the international network of OpenMed. Since 2001 he manages European and International Projects in Training and Culture, Environment and Local Governance cooperating with the European Commission DG, Research Centres and Universities of the Mediterranean basin.

  • Martina Spiga, Consultant

    OpenMed consultant, graduated in Political Sciences at the University of Cagliari, specialised with the Masters degree in European Studies and Internationl Relations at the Sapienza University of Rome. Expert in the field of policies and structural funds. Since 2009, she deals with managing complex projects and cooperation in the Mediterranean area in fields such as Innovation and Enterprise, Mobility, Education and Culture, Territorial Governance.

  • Messaoud Yamoun, Consultant

    Messaoud Yamoun , Diplomé de démographie et de sciences économiques et politiques de l'Université d'Alger, ayant exercé plusieurs fonctions administratives à Alger et à Tunis, par exemple près du Service des statistiques d'Alger , du Ministère de l'Industrie d'Alger, il a été Cadre supérieur des services de promotion des investissements et d'aménagement des zones touristiques de Tunisie et il est fondateur de plusieurs ONG de développement de Tunisie. Il est Consultant Open-Med pour la Tunisie.
