Second call for standard projects launched

The Programme will launch its second call for standard projects in December 2011.

Technical staff from ENAS (Regional Agency for Water Management in Sardinia, Italy), ONAS (Office National d’Assainissement de Tunisie), SONEDE (Société Nationale d'Exploitation et de Distribution des Eaux, Tunisie) and Municipality of Ajim (Tunisia) will meet on the 3rd-6th October at Ajim-Djerba.

For the Mediterranean countries, tourism is a central economic issue.

In the framework of SIL, the most important event on Logistic in the Mediterranean, and in conjunction with the 9th Euro Mediterranean Forum on Logistic, the Training for trainers “Innovation and clustering of port logistics services in the Mediterranean Basin” was held in Barcelona on 6th – 7th June in the framework of the Med Ports project financed by the European Programme INVEST IN MED.

During the 9th Mediterranean Transport and Logistics Forum, held on 7th June in Barcelona in the framework of SIL 2011, International Logistics & Transport Exhibition, the Action Plan of the project MEDPORTS has been illustrated.

The Guidelines for Applicants, published together with the call for strategic projects on 5th May 2011 in the framework of the Programme ENPI CBC MED, have been slightly modified by the JMA

The selection for the candidatures for the training seminar “Innovation and clustering of port logistics services in the Mediterranean Basin” are open (deadline: 19/05/2011). The training is scheduled for the 6th and 7th June in Barcelona under the project Medports

The action plan of the project MED PORTS will be presented during the IX MEDITERRANEAN TRANSPORT AND LOGISTICS FORUM which will be held on 7th June in Barcelona
