Second call for standard projects launched

The Programme will launch its second call for standard projects in December 2011.

The selection for the candidatures for the training seminar “Innovation and clustering of port logistics services in the Mediterranean Basin” are open (deadline: 19/05/2011). The training is scheduled for the 6th and 7th June in Barcelona under the project Medports

In the framework of the Programme ENPI CBC MED, of which Sardinia Region is the Joint Managing Authority, two calls for proposals are scheduled in 2011.

The European Commission has already earmarked 4 billion euro aid for partner countries in North Africa and the Middle East, a figure that includes 240 million € for Tunisia and 445 million € for Egypt.

Representatives and operators of the ports of Cagliari, Gioia Tauro, Port Said, Alexandria, Tunis and Tangier met on 9-10 December to discuss a strategic and operational agreement which aims to increase the share of trade flows directed to the Central and Northern Europe, passing through the ports of the Mediterranean.

The LLP of the European Union offers interesting learning opportunities to people at all stages of their lives.

The 1st of October, Moy Labelled Master and PhD – Level Programme has been published by Mediterranean Office for Youth. With 16 participating countries (Albania, Bosnia-Erzegovina, Croazia, Cipro, Egitto, Francia, Italia, Marocco, Grecia, Libano, Malta, Montenegro, Slovenia, Spagna, Tunisia e Turchia), the programme must incorporate mobility plans that enable students to spend portions of the programme in at least two institutions in two different countries of the partnership and that contribute to making the student more employable.

Is now possible to send apply for the workshop “Innovation and clustering of port logistics services in the Mediterranean Basin”, scheduled for October in Cairo under the project Medports funded through the European Programme INVEST IN MED.

The European Commission has launched this call for proposals addressed to higher education institutions in the EU member states offering a Master Course in European Studies.

OpenMed Staff took part to the General Assembly 2010 of Réseau Méditerranéen des Écoles d’Ingénieur (RMEI) as a representative of Centro Servizi Promozionali per le Imprese (CSI) – Chamber of Commerce of Cagliari.

OpenMed staff participated in the Anna Lindh Forum 2010, that took place in Barcellona from the 4th to the 7th of March.
